New job!

So I just got hired! I can’t believe it! I thought I would ever find a job as someone who majored in fine art. Its full time so now I just have to figure out a way to juggle work and creating new art. Wish me luck!

New work!

Finally getting some new artwork going! Transitioning out of school has been really difficult. I find it hard to motivate myself sometimes. I think the important thing is to keep making. This blog is helping me stay on top of things a lot! Bye for now

I am having a graduation party in a few weeks and we are setting it up like a gallery showing. I am very excited because I never took the time in college to set up my own show! Anyway, I hope to post some pictures of the party after the fact.

Open Studio This Week!

So open studio is this friday! This is my last open studio in college!!!! 

Anyway it’s gonna be super fun, free food, artwork and good times. I will leave you with the poster(ette) I have been hanging up around campus!

March Updates 2012!!!!!

The Makers Space show/opening went really well. Many people showed up, there were drinks, music, and I also got an awesome silkscreen patch!

Up next is an upcoming show with my very good friend and fellow artist Chelsea Foss. We are hanging artwork in Bombs Away Cafe sometime this upcoming week! That show will be up until the beginning of April.

Also next week the Art dept. @ OSU will be having a open studio! Basically anyone can come look at tons of artwork by many of the students in the art dept. The show will be from 12-4pm March 16th in Cascade Hall (across the railroad tracks)

Also there will be free food and refreshments, so bring some friends and come check out some art work!

Also I like to share pictures so here is a photo of my new homemade business cards!

Leap Year Show

I am so excited to be a part of Maker’s Space upcoming Leap year show next week on leap day February 29th!

This show is part of the grand opening of Maker’s Space in The Majestic Theater!

The event sounds like so much fun, there is going to be live music and a variety show team from Eugene!

Kiss Kiss Bang! Bang!

@ Kiss Kiss Bang! Bang! Show

Last week a group of friends and I had a valentines themed show called Kiss Kiss Bang! Bang! The Corvallis Brewery Supply was kind enough to let us use their space. The show was so much fun! There was a lot of creative and impressive work and we had a pretty good turnout.

I still have some valentines left if anyone is interested!!! They are pretty humorous and fun!
